While all of the members of Phish remain active with side projects during the band’s down time, none are as raucous as that of Jon Fishman’s band, Touchpants. Half comedy, half music, the group’s performances are known for their use of toilets, dildos, and more as props.

However, it seems that this may be running Fishman into some family trouble, according to a new interview published by 215music. According to the interview, Fishman has been pressured by his wife, who “isn’t exactly thrilled with the level of gross.” The band is scheduled to perform at Bonnaroo, where some of Fishman’s daughter’s friends will be in attendance; thus, the Fishman family may force the eventual end of the group.

The conversation with Fishman took place in Philly, where Fishman recently performed and held a meet-and-greet as part of the Bernie Sanders campaign trail. 215music not only published the interview, but recorded footage of the entire performance, which we recently shared as part of coverage from the event. Fishman was joined by members of Particle and Dopapod for the show.

If Touchpants is indeed coming to an end, we certainly will remember all of the fond, and inappropriate, memories.
