Kool & The Gang Present ‘A Funk Fest Celebration’ At New Coney Island Amphitheatre

The new amphitheatre at the Coney Island Boardwalk, which holds 5,000 seats, is hosting a summer music series featuring special performances from acts like Ziggy Marley, The Disco Biscuits, Erykah Badu, and more between the lovely months of June and September. 

Also included in the initial schedule is Kool & The Gang, presenting “A Funk Fest Celebration” with Morris Day & The Time, Bootsy’s Rubber Band, and Doug E. Fresh on August 12. This is certainly going to be a funky good time, so don’t miss out! Tickets go on sale August 15 and can be found here.
