Tonight, a host of incredible musicians will descend upon The Hall At MP in Brooklyn, NY for “Get Out And Vote For Bernie,” a benefit show for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. With the New York primary happening the following day, music-lovers will gather in the hometown of presidential candidate Sanders to promote awareness, and direct suggested donations toward the campaign.
The funk fusion group Kung Fu will be hosting the festivities, with very special guests Jon Fishman (Phish), Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company/Allman Brothers Band), Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), Kat Wright on vocals, Jason Hann of SCI/EOTO, and DJ Logic. Local band LoveDeep will be opening the evening with some tunes. On top of all the music, comedian/activist Jamie Kilstein will be talking about Sanders and his campaign. More information regarding special guests can be found here.
The night gets more exciting with the addition of a live stream, available on YouTube for anyone who isn’t able to attend the event.
