Aaron Neville Announces New Album With Eric Krasno, Listen To The Debut Track

Funk master Aaron Neville is returning with a new album, titled Apache, on July 15th. The New Orleans legend recruited a number of New York R&B players for the release, including members of The Dap Kings horn section and guitar aficionado Eric Krasno to both produce and play guitar on the release. Other musicians on the album include Adam Deitch, Peter Levin, Adam Smirnoff, Jesus Coomes, Ryan Zoidis, Eric Benny Bloom, Alicia Shakour, Nigel Hall.

Today, Neville has shared the first track from the new release. Titled “Be Your Man,” the funky new jam features Neville, Krasno, and a whole lotta soul! Listen to the new jam, which premiered on WSJ, below.

Neville has a number of summer tour dates on tap, including a 75th birthday concert at The Apollo Theater on August 4th. Check out the Apache tracklisting below.
