A few days ago, beloved, cannabis-loving Americana icon Willie Nelson needed some extra security while on tour in Boston, MA. Luckily, the Super Troopers  – aka the comedy troupe Broken Lizard – were there to lend a hand.

The Troopers, who are in the area filming the much-awaited follow up to their cult classic film, tweeted at Nelson to offer him some extra muscle on his way to his show, and the good-spirited musician obliged, inviting the hilarious quintet to tag along.

He then invited Thorny, Mac, Rabbit, Foster, and lovable idiot Farva up on stage to help him perform a song, which you can see below, courtesy of Nelson’s YouTube channel

The comedy group then hung out with Nelson on his tour bus, and, if their stories of partying with AC/DC are true, we imagine they have a trip to Jamaica in store! If the stories about Nelson are true, well…let’s just say, the long awaited “Weed Fest” sequel to Beer Fest must be in the works.
