Catskill Chill got Phish-y last night, as bassist Mike Gordon made his headlining performance at the esteemed festival. For Gordon, the show marked his first non-Phish performance since February, bringing a talented roster of musicians like Robert Walter, Craig Myers, John Kimock and Scott Murawski together for the set. It also marked Gordo’s debut at the Chill, though he was not the first Phish member to perform at the event. Keyboardist Page McConnell played with The Meter Men at Chill just a few years ago.

With Chillfest at its new home in Lakewood, PA, fans are certainly eager to know how the inaugural location fits the festival’s community-oriented vibe. Fortunately, since Twiddle’s headlining set on Thursday night, fans have been treated to a non-stop party of great music.

Mike Gordon brought a great set on the first night of the festival proper, bringing a number of his solo hits and original music to the stage. Among the songs played were “Andelman’s Yard” and “Yarmouth Road,” both of which were filmed by pheelinphine1 on YouTube. Watch below.
