Baseball fans know that October only means one things: the playoffs. As teams compete to become World Series champions, each game becomes more significant than the last. Thus, the stakes were high last night when the San Francisco Giants hosted the Chicago Cubs at AT&T Park last night. Though the Cubs ultimately won the game – and the series – the festivities in San Francisco were kicked off by none other than bluegrass ensemble, Hot Buttered Rum.

Hot Buttered Rum has been a mainstay of the San Francisco scene for years, treating fans to their soulful blend of bluegrass performing. The band has had the opportunity to perform at AT&T Park in the past, but opening things up before a crucial playoff game must have been quite the honor.

We’ll let the band take it away… Enjoy!
