Eric Krasno & Friends @ Blue Note

March 19, 2018 - March 21, 2018

Eric Krasno has announced a three-night residency at New York City’s iconic The Blue Note from March 19th through 21st, with two performances each night (one at 8 p.m. and one at 10:30 p.m.). Under the banner Eric Krasno & Friends, the beloved Soulive and Lettuce guitarist has tapped a number of other high-profile musicians to join him for these performances. As the “house band,” Krasno will reconvene his long-dormant former outfit, Chapter 2, comprised of Nigel Hall (Lettuce) on the keys as well drummer Louis Cato (Jon Batiste and Stay Human, the house band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and bassist Chris Loftlin (Brian McKnight).

However, while this lineup as a standalone is exciting, Krasno & Friends will also be joined during the performances by three very special guests: QuestloveCory Henry, and Robert Randolph. Questlove is best known for his work as a drummer and joint frontman for the classic hip-hop group, The Roots, currently the house band for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Robert Randolph, the Grammy-nominated pedal steel guitarist, has performed with the likes of Phil LeshEric ClaptonPhish’s Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell, and many more, in addition to touring regularly with his own Robert Randolph & The Family Band. Rounding out the bill’s special guests is organist Cory Henry, who is well-known for his fruitful solo career as well as for his work with Snarky Puppy, though he has also toured with the likes of Bruce SpringsteenMichael McDonaldP. Diddy, The Roots, and others.
