Kung Fu @ American Beauty NYC (Phish Late Night)

Out of their dojo in Connecticut, Kung Fu delivers a deadly funk-fusion assault that would defeat the most sinister of demonic rakshasas. Over the past few months, the group has been releasing a series of singles dubbed Ninja Cuts, with the latest in the series featuring deep funk classic cut “Scorpion” penned by keyboardist Beau Sasser. In a recent interview with L4LM, drummer Adrian Tramontano discussed Kung Fu’s activity in the studio and switching things up with their live shows, “We’re writing a lot of new tunes. We’re just changing up our show a lot from what it used to be in the past. We are getting really open about how we’ve been playing stuff lately.
