Not everyone likes Christmas music, but everyone should like Vulfpeck. So to pump up the holiday cheer, this year, we’re bringing the Vulf-version of “Santa Baby” to the dinner table for a healthy helping of funk. The quartet shared this song on Christmas Day in 2015 through Majestic Casual, but it will stay in rotation for years to come.
A truly Vulfian take on the holiday classic, the band described the tune as: “woody goss playing rhodes by ur fireplace making casual conversation with ur mishpacha.” Woody Goss, being the secret weapon that he is, is the mastermind behind this little jingle and for that we thank him for the revelation that not all Christmas music is bad. In fact, we’d listen to this tune all day, any day.
