Holly Bowling experienced a true breakout year in 2015, emerging on to the scene with a triumphant solo piano interpretation of Phish’s 30-plus minute “Tweezer” jam from Lake Tahoe, NV. The so-called “Tahoe Tweezer” catapulted Bowling to the spotlight, and her subsequent release of the Distillation Of A Dream album all but cemented her fate in the scene.

With 2015 in the books, Bowling kicked off the new year with a bang, performing on her first Jam Cruise. Bowling had a solo piano set in the Atrium, where she delighted with a mixture of Phish and Grateful Dead covers. Bowling’s set also included a cover of Disco Biscuits’ “Magellan” featuring Aron Magner, and Umphrey’s McGee’s “Cemetery Walk II” featuring Joel Cummins, who was scheduled to perform immediately following.
