On Wednesday, December 13, drummer Jaimoe took the stage with Jasssz Band at The Iridium Jazz Club for his monthly residency in New York City. The original Allman Brothers Band member is one of two surviving founders with us today, and any chance to see him is beyond special. During his concert performance, which included Allman Brothers tunes and classic jazz/blues covers, Jaimoe addressed the recent announcement from Dickey Betts that he plans to tour in 2018. While the decision was pending for quite some time, Jaimoe tells the audience how he called the former ABB guitarist/singer/songwriter and urged him to do what he does best: play live music.
