The quartet played through over 100 minutes of compositions that blended electronic-music elements with a diverse range of genres from jazz, afrobeat, dub, funk, and more to create a “live music abstraction,” taking listeners on a first-class intergalactic journey that needs to be heard by any true music head. To culminate their three-night run across the Northeast, J.E.D.I. will hit Albany tonight for a special performance at The Hollow with Colorado-based space-funk jammers the Magic Beans.
