In the wake of Prince’s passing, New Orleans held a memorial second line parade in his honor last night. Starting at the Ooh Poo Pah Doo Bar on Orleans, Ave, the festivities ran through the Treme and worked their way towards the French Quarter in celebration of Prince’s life. The traditional New Orleans funeral brought out thousands of fans, with the majority clad in purple clothing in honor of the late great musician.
