People’s Blues of Richmond is a three piece force of nature with many faces. The trio of Richmond, Virginia natives blur the lines that separate up-tempo blues rock, punk, psych and prog-fusion. The band recently finished up tour in Colorado playing with The New Mastersounds at the Belly Up in Aspen, Shakedown Bar in Vail, and Oskar Blues’ new “Black Buzzard” venue in Denver. Next, they are gearing up for a show with Marco Benevento at The High Watt in Nashville and Sweetwater Brewing’s birthday with the Dirty Heads and Twiddle in Atlanta. Fresh on the heels of the band’s recent release of a re-worked “Cocaine Powder”, the People’s Blues of Richmond are currently working on recording their 4th studio album.

People’s Blues of Richmond been traveling the country, spreading their energetic gospel for nine years, and their list of accomplishments is ever-growing. They’ve played LOCKN’ Music Festival in their home state of Virginia, three sets at Electric Forest, The Laid Back Fest at Red Rocks with ZZ Top and Gregg Allman, two years at Sweetwater 420 Fest, two years at Gasparilla, and amazing venues like Brooklyn Bowl and Bowery Ballroom in NYC, The National, The Norva, and Track 29.
