One of Phish‘s foremost jam vehicles over the years, “You Enjoy Myself”, has long contained some of the strangest and most entertaining sections of music the band has ever played. Toeing the line between genius and absurdity, “YEM” has become a delicacy for phans. Like a fine wine, it only bets better with age. Such is the case for the “You Enjoy Myself” Phish played 28 years ago tonight, on 12/9/95 at the Knickerbocker Arena in Albany, NY. The jam includes a traditional vocal jam along with the song, as well as quotes from a talking Beavis and Butt-Head doll, a “silent” jam, and a quote from Shaft.

Take a look and a listen to this outstanding version of “You Enjoy Myself” below.
