Greener Grounds got the party started for Kyle Hollingsworth Band on Saturday, January 23rd at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, Colorado. Greener Grounds is a Denver based jamtronica act that is making major waves in the festival and live music scene. Their sound is similar to old school STS9. They brought the heat to the Aggie in their typical fashion and even paid tribute to the late David Bowie with a fantastic version of “Golden Years.”

Listen to their set below:

Hollingsworth did not waste any time by opening up with a roaring “Let’s Go Outside.” Plenty of Kyle’s classic songs got played including “Piece of Mine”, “Rosie,” and “Galactic”. The band even played the melody from “Terrapin Station.” KHB does a wonderful job at twisting up String Cheese standards into the happy funk, that makes their show so awesome. Watch the band play Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long” into “Rosie” here:

Greener Grounds is taking the scene by storm and will most certainly be a force to be reckoned with in years to come. They are embarking on a large Midwest/East Coast tour and very well could be coming to your town! Check out their tour promo video below, and head to their website for tour dates and more info.
