Last weekend, Papadosio warmed the hearts of many with their fifth annual ‘Earth Night’ celebration. Held at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA on December 19th, the performance was filled with great jams amid excellent performances.

The evening started with TAUK, the four-piece progressive rock act on the rise. The group got things going with some great grooves, never relenting for their short-but-sweet opening set.

Next up was Thundercat, whose bass-fueled riffs dominated the Tabernacle crowd. The venue continued to fill up, as fans in attendance watched Thundercat with awe and delight. Somewhere between myth and mortal, Thundercat wasted no time getting things shaking.

Finally, Dosio came out guns ablazing for their headlining performance. Over two hours, the band played many tracks from their new album Extras In A Move, including “2AM.” The uptempo acoustic-electronic track provided enough energy to power the city of Atlanta!

Each band member’s unique musical ability was highlighted here, from Mike Healy (drums) dropping bombs, to the Brouse brothers’ (Sam and Billy) synth riffs, Rob McConnell’s groovy bass lines, and Anthony Thogmartin’s leading vocals accompanying rock solid guitar.

‘Earth Night V’ also included live performance artists below stage and a plethora of other artists showing works. The way Papadosio provided a platform for artists to promote their works was truly incredible!
