Earlier this week, the Tuesday night NTHFECTIOUS residency brought R&B Night to The Knitting Factory. The group, comprised of Nikki Glaspie, Nate Edgar and Nick Cassarino, welcomed a totally out-of-this-world group of special guests, including Snarky Puppy’s Cory Henry, Living Colour’s Corey Glover, American R&B/Soul and Gospel singer Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Jason Murden from The Village Underground, Brandon Niederauer “TAZ”, Screaming Headless Torsos’ Danny Sadownick, Beyonce’s Kat Rodriguez, Turkuaz’s Shira and Michelangelo Carubba, Phantom Vanity, Yvette Rovira, and Dmitry Gorodetsky; and it was freakishly good.

After this week’s highly successful R&B Night, the group is bringing Reggae Night back to The Knitting Factory next Monday, January 25th complemented by some very special guests. 

As if the bar gets raised every week to bring some of the greatest talents to the stage, this week’s Reggae Night is set to include: Elenna Canlas (Keys, Vocals, Easy Star All-Stars, Underground System), Shelton Garner (Guitar, Vocals, Easy Star All Stars), Bajah (vocals, Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew), Morgan Price (Saxophone, Antibalas), Nadav Nirenburg (Trombone, Monophonics), David Bailas (Guitar, Pimps of Joytime), Ras Droppa (Vocals, (Cannabis Cup Band, Easy Star All Stars), Billy “Prince” Polo (Ropeadope Records), and so many more.
