Middletown CT – The normally quiet Main Street of Middletown, CT was treated a special evening of music from a newly formed collaboration called Elf Breath, last Tuesday, December 22nd. The group featured an all-star lineup, with Beau Sasser (Kung Fu, Escape Plan) on keys, Craig Brodhead (Turkuaz) on guitar and vocals, Chuck Jones (Dopapod) on bass and Bill Carbone (Z3, Max Creek) on drums.

Normally, the venue/restaurant La Boca doesn’t host artists in the Jam and Funk music scene, however, the newly-formed quartet were welcomed on this pre-Christmas occasion. The intimate atmosphere made for the perfect setting, as the group got to work entertaining their fans. From those returning home for the holidays or those out just out with their friends before the holiday, everyone was in great spirits dancing to fresh Elf Breath tunes.

It was an absolutely great night of music! Beau Sasser did not disappoint, as his unique and entertaining style on keys were on full display from beginning to end. Craig Brodhead and Chuck Jones brought their funky grooves to the stage, keeping the crowd entertained through the entirety of the two-set performance. Carbone kept the beat going and the crowd dancing all night long.

Don’t miss Dopapod, Turkuaz, and Kung Fu performing at “The Balldrop” New Year’s Eve event! The three bands are hitting the stage at the Palladium in Worcester, MA on NYE for a night of great music, and there’s no telling what might happen when these funk powerhouses converge. It’s bound to be an awesome way to ring in 2016! More information can be found here.
