The Magic Beans have quickly become well known on the national scene for their relentless touring, festival appearances, and inspired live shows. The band’s songs capture a wide range of genres while their danceable improvisation takes the music to many places throughout a live show. The Beans are gearing up for summer tour, Beanstalk Festival in Colorado, and the release of their 4-song EP, The Foam. As usual, this music will be given to the people for FREE; so spread the love.

The first release from their EP is a laid back, funky number inspired by time spent in New Orleans, LA. “As You Like It” takes you from cruising uptown on Oak Street to a parade down in the quarter to a sunrise over the canal. This track features Clark Smith of DYNOHUNTER on saxophone and Matt Wilkolak of Lady and the Gentlemen on trumpet. The Beans have been performing this one live for a bit and wanted to give the fan favorite the full studio treatment.

Says guitarist Scott Hachey, “Music is really amazing, so we went into the studio to capture some of it.” Listen to the premiere of “As You Like It” below:

The Magic Beans have a busy 2016 ahead, and we could not be more excited to hear the rest of The Foam, as well as the group’s annual Beanstalk Festival event. For everything Beans related, head to the band’s official website.
