Gov’t Mule is set to get underway with their 7th annual Island Exodus getaway in Negril, Jamaica tonight. In anticipation of these sensational performances, we turn our attention back to this date in 2014 on Island Exodus V. A scorcher to say the least, Mule was joined by several special guests including noted saxophone player Bill Evans, guitar player Tash Neal of the London Souls, and southern rocker J.J. Grey. The night would include many Gov’t Mule stapes as well as several reggae-infused covers.
