Phish’s storybook 1997 Fall Tour was chalked full of highlights every night, containing some of the band’s most transcendent performances ever. 18 years ago tonight the band played at The Palace in Auburn Hills, MI, located just outside of Detroit. Most known for the epic “Tweezer” > “Izabella” (Jimi Hendrix) combo, this show in it’s entirety is a great sample of the band’s patent “cow funk” that evolved out of ’97.
