Hip-hop duo Run The Jewels have hit the ground running on their 2017 Run The World Tour. A Few weeks into their travels, El-P and Killer Mike landed at the Shrine Expo Hall last night in Los Angeles, California. With their surprise album release of RTJ3 now in the hands of their fans, earlier than expected, the new material has furthered the band’s exciting legacy, with witty verses and killer beats. The group’s brilliance is only multiplied in a live setting.

With collaborators like Joi, BOOTS, and Gangsta Boo often joining them in their recent live performances, fans in LA were treated to an especially guest-filled performance. Danny Brown, Travis Barker, and Rage Against The Machine’s Zack de la Rocha (who is featured on the final track of their new album) all joined in for a star-studded performance of RTJ’s regular set.

Featuring plenty of the new songs, covers of Queen and DJ Shadow, and classic originals, the group’s LA performance was by far the highlight of the run thus far.

Run The Jewels have months of touring on the road ahead of them, including performances in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, and more. The Run The World Tour continues in support of their 2016 release RTJ3 which also features Kamasi Washington, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Trina, and more. Listen up right here and check out their full tour schedule right here.
