All’s Eye Trio, a new project combining the talents of guitarist Ari Joshua, drummer Ben Atkind (Elephantproof, formerly of Goose), and keyboardist Kris Yunker (Bearly Dead, formerly Goose), is gearing up to hit the road with a fresh batch of new material slated for release in the coming months.
The trio’s formation began with a few casual gigs pairing Joshua and Yunker during New Orleans Jazz Fest, which inspired the duo to foster their innate chemistry and invite Atkind to round out the band’s lineup, fusing their precision electronic influences with boogaloo funk, psychedelic rock, and jazz improvisation. The trio soon found itself with a cache of original songs and only one thing left to do—take the show on the road. Of note, the All’s Eye Trio’s upcoming tour will mark Yunker and Atkind’s first run of live shows together since their time in Goose.
All’s Eye Trio’s first tour will begin later this month and feature stops in Vermont (11/20, 11/21), Connecticut (11/23, and Massachusetts (11/24). To mark the start of the tour, the group will release a new single mastered by Alan Evans, “West Hill Road“, via Music Factory Records on November 20th. The trio will introduce itself to audiences with a mix of new, unreleased material and past originals by Joshua—whose prolific output has resulted in 24 releases in 2024 alone—and collaborative work that brings together three voices from different corners of the live music scene to create something truly original.

The band recently recorded an 15 tracks at Carriage House Studios and plans to release a series of singles over the next six months. Meanwhile, they have each stayed busy with various projects. Joshua just dropped “Cherry Peach“, a new song featuring John Medeski, Billy Martin, and Jason Fraticelli, who also appeared on his first release of the year, “Dragons Layer”. He also runs The Music Factory, a music school he founded that gives lessons to hundreds of kids each week in his hometown. Ben Atkind has been logging miles performing with Elephantproof, while Kris Yunker has been keeping the Grateful Dead flame alive with his project Bearly Dead and has upcoming shows with drummers Joe Russo and Billy Martin at NYC’s innovative Creative Music Studio, a center for avant garde improvised music at The New School.
