On Friday night, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead performed their second sold-out show at the Teregram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California. Keeping it to the core five, Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, Scott Metzger, and Dave Dreiwitz delivered two sets of pure ecstasy with their signature takes on Grateful Dead classics, stuffed with teases of The Kinks, The Allman Brothers Band, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, Tears for Fears, Earth, Wind, & Fire, and several other obscure, brief covers.
