Indie-folk giant Father John Misty continued his 2023 spring tour on Friday evening at Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre featuring support from Loren Kramar.
Misty, a.k.a Joshua Tillman, spent his two-hour set working through his lengthy solo catalog alongside a nine-piece band, keeping the Capitol crowd in the palm of his hand with his thought-provoking lyricism, emotive voice, and invigorating stage presence. At the tail end of his encore, Father John Misty stripped thing down to close out the show with acoustic renditions of “Real Love Baby” and “Holy Shit”.
