If you were out and about in New York City last night—or if you’ve gone anywhere near the Internet today—you’re most likely aware of the collective freak-out over the mysterious blue light that glowed above the Big Apple on Thursday evening. Many people thought we were being visited by extraterrestrials, and prepared for an alien invasion.
