Easily one of the most well-respected festivals in the US, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival continues to draw massive crowds with an incredible offering of local culture and, of course, live music. While the lineup has yet to be announced, a handful of performers have slipped information indicating their appearance on the prestigious billing.

The first major one that we reported on was Paul Simon, who admitted to being on the lineup during a concert in NOLA last month. Another artist is Bob Seger, who recently gave an interview saying that he was going to go on his Bucket List tour in 2016 with a planned stop at the famed festival.

Another is Michael McDonald, as the famed vocalist hasn’t performed at Jazzfest since the 80’s. A preview of a recent December concert confirmed that McDonald’s first 2016 appearance would be down in New Orleans, and that McDonald will also be releasing a new album this year. Finally, beloved NOLA musician Nicholas Payton has Jazz Fest listed on his tour date schedule.

There are other rumored entries as well, including Modest Mouse, Ben Harper, Gregg Allman, Van Morrison and more. We’ll be sure to keep you updated!
