Looking for somewhere to spend your July 4th during the Phish three night run at SPAC? Tired of getting tickets for drinking in a State Park? Live For Live Music has got you covered, as we’re throwing a July 4th BBQ extravaganza just steps away from SPAC’s gates! Included in your ticket price is an ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ, along with sets from The Z3 (A Funky Take On Frank Zappa), FiKus, and The Jauntee! Also, we’re fully licensed to serve alcohol throughout the day – pregame safely!

The Columbia Pavilion is a covered venue, just a ten minute walk from SPAC’s gates and the Phish lot. Park your car either in the Phish lots, or in our private parking space near the Pavilion, and join the party! We’ll be serving drinks and flipping burgers ALL DAY and jamming out to some incredible music. Then after the Phish show, instead of worrying about paying to park at the venue, then being stuck in terrible traffic after the Phish show, just take a stroll through the park, watch some fireworks, and take off stress free!

The Z3 puts a funky spin on the classic tunes of Frank Zappa, featuring Tim Palmieri of Kung Fu/The Breakfast, Beau Sasser, and Bill Carbone. These guys pluck songs from Zappa’s entire catalogue, interpreting them for new audiences with just a guitar, drums, and organ. These guys have received the seal of approval from Zappa fans, playing at the legendary Zappanale festival with Germany, as well as a string of dates with longtime Zappa band member Ed Mann.

New Jersey’s FiKus has been all over the east coast, cementing there place in today’s jam band scene with festival gigs and non stop touring. They refer to their sound as ‘electro-funk-rock’, blending a variety of different genres into one unique sound, putting together a high energy rock show. These guys are always mentioned when discussing the future of of improvised rock.

The Jauntee is one of the few bands to emerge in the past several years that feels like a pure jam band. Jambands.com called them the ‘Heir To The Throne’ of Phish, and if you’ve seem them live, the comparisons doesn’t feel exactly wrong. Blending pure jam madness with fun covers and a flair for rock and roll, The Jauntee are pure awesomeness.

This event is RAIN OR SHINE, and tickets MUST be purchased in advanced – we will NOT be selling tickets at the door per the rules of Saratoga Springs State Park.
