It’s been nine months since David Bowie left this Earth. With entertainers finding more ways to artistically honor him, we flock to any semblance of the Starman’s legacy left behind. Last night at the 2016 Hyundai Mercury Prize ceremony, actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter) honored Bowie with a particularly moving performance of “Lazarus”, the first track of his final Blackstar record, which hauntingly begins, “Look up here, I’m in heaven.”

Hall was backed by a full band, and delivered a breath-taking version of the song while videos of Bowie flashed behind him. Watch the emotive performance below:
