Adirondack Independence Music Festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary over Labor Day Weekend 2025 by bringing moe., Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Robert Randolph, and more to Lake George, NY. The festival is set for August 29th–31st at Charles R. Wood Park.
For the fifth year in a row, Buffalo-born moe. will headline, playing two sets a night for two nights. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will also play two sets, in addition to performances by Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense with the Ocean Avenue Stomper Horns, Meters funk legend George Porter Jr. and his Runnin’ Pardners, jam mainstays Spafford and Neighbor, Ryan Montbleau Band, Bumpin Uglies, and LaMP (ft. Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger, and Ray Paczkowski).
moe. guitarist Al Schnier and drummer Vinnie Amico will also stage a rare performance by their Bob Dylan tribute, fittingly dubbed bob. The remainder of the 2025 Adirondack Independence Music Festival includes Bearly Dead, Annie in the Water, The Big Takeover, Sicard Hollow, Creamery Station, Ghosts of Jupiter, Johnny Mullenax, Organ Fairchild, Leon Trout, and Sly Fox and the Hustlers. Situated in the heart of Lake George, Adirondack Independence Music Festival will take over Charles R. Wood Park’s 2.5-acre Festival Commons to present side-by-side stages for nonstop music all day long until 11 p.m. The festival will complement the music with a wide range of beer, wine, and food vendors along with an array of artist and merch booths. Children under 12 are admitted free. As is tradition, the festival will afford great views of the Lake George fireworks on Saturday night.
