Phish Confirms 1995 NYE Show For Vinyl Release

UPDATE: This has been confirmed, as Phish will release a 6-LP vinyl edition of their New Years Eve 1995 concert from Madison Square Garden on Record Store Day, April 18th. New Year’s Eve 1995: Live At Madison Square Garden will be available exclusively at participating record stores. This marks the first time a Live Phish release has come out for vinyl.

Last week, we reported that Phish was hinting at an extensive live vinyl release, when they released the following image on social media:

Based on some evidence, we have reason to believe that the live release will cover the band’s New Years Eve performance from 1995. Aside from the placement of “You Enjoy Myself” in the setlist, a Canadian vinyl distributor accidentally included the following in a list of albums for distribution on Record Store Day:

We’ll be sure to confirm once the band has officially announced details, but we’re excited for this vinyl release nonetheless! Here’s the setlist from that amazing show, which included a cover of Collective Soul’s “Shine,” as well as rare versions of The Who’s “Sea and Sand” and the last-ever version of “Axilla (Part II).” Record Store Day is April 18th.
