The Allman Betts Band kicked off its annual Allman Family Revival tour outside St. Louis on Saturday with a show at The Factory in Chesterfield. The traveling cavalcade of Allman Brothers Band-adjacent artists delivered a three-hour performance, signaling the start of the now-19-date jaunt, presented by Gibson.
In addition to The Allman Betts Band—featuring Devon Allman, Duane Betts, and Berry Duane Oakley—the star-studded show saw guest appearances from Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimmy Hall, Luther Dickinson, Donavon Frankenreiter, Eric Gales, Lilly Hiatt, Robert Randolph, and more.
The coast-to-coast tour will host intermittent sightings of George Porter Jr., Karl Denson, Marc Ford, Ivan Neville, Art Edmaiston, Beth Hart, J.D. Simo, Jessica Lynn, and Ally Venable who will join the previously announced touring lineup featuring Lilly Hiatt, Cody and Luther Dickinson, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jimmy Hall, and Lamar Williams Jr., as well as G. Love, Samantha Fish, Alex Orbison, and Kenny Aronoff in select markets.
