The third annual Allman Family Revival has expanded to three cities in 2019 in honor of the late Gregg Allman‘s birthday and legacy. All three performances will feature an opening set from the Allman Betts Band, which will be followed by an Allman Brothers Band and Gregg Allman tribute set featuring an all-star cast of musicians.

The Allman Family Revival will begin at The Fillmore in San Francisco on December 7th, and will feature Todd Park Mohr, Eric Krasno, Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall, Samantha Fish, and Jimmy Vivino. The following night, December 8th, the celebratory concert will head east to Denver’s Mission Ballroom with Krasno, Randolph, Hall, and Vivino. The three-night Allman Family Revival will wrap with a performance at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on December 28th, a venue the Allman Brothers Band played 238 times throughout their illustrious career. The Beacon Theatre guests include Krasno, Randolph, Hall, Mohr, Robin Zander, and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer.

The announcement notes, “a portion of the proceeds will go to School of Rock, to help fund after school music programs that are picking up the slack for the alarming lack of in-school music programs declining nationwide.”

Tickets for all three Allman Family Revival shows go on sale this Friday, September 13th at 10 a.m. local time for San Francisco and Denver and 12 p.m. (EST) for New York City.
