America has announced a 50th anniversary world tour that will take the veteran rock band around the globe. The band will celebrate the anniversary of their 1971 self-titled debut album, which took them to No. 1 on the Billboard singles chart with their smash hit, “A Horse With No Name”.

The tour begins tomorrow, Friday February 21st at Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Brookville, NY. After that the band begins a tour of North America, where they will make stops in prominent cities across the United States and Canada, including Memphis, Milwaukee, San Antonio, Ft. Lauderdale, Windsor, Calgary, and more. In July, America will head to Europe for shows in France, the U.K., and Germany. The band’s current lineup features founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnel, following the death of fellow original member Dan Peek in 2011
