It’s quite amazing to see just how far-reaching Prince’s influences truly were. Musicians from every genre have made it a point to play the Purple One’s music, even those steeped in the New Orleans tradition. Jazz Fest has been full of Prince tributes, and Anders Osborne even took a moment out from his show at Tipitina’s to perform one of the all-time classics, “Purple Rain.”

For those who want to see more from Anders Osborne, do not miss his performance at the upcoming NOLA Crawfish Festival starting tomorrow, April 25th, and running through the “daze between” Jazz Fest weekends from the 25th through the 27th at NOLA Brewery. With George Porter Jr., Billy Iuso, Papa Gros, Ivan Neville, Terence Higgins, Nigel Hall and more on the lineup, not to mention thousands of pounds of crawfish cooked up by the NOLA Crawfish King, this is going to be one great event.
