Anderson .Paak has launched a new coloring club to help occupy kids in quarantine. In a post to his Instagram, the hip-hop/R&B artist shared a black and white drawing of himself for kids to color.

.Paak said that a new edition of #PaintWithPaak will be posted to his Instagram every Friday. The first drawing for #PaintWithPaak finds the singer on the beach with his surfboard, something he hopes to return to following the end of isolation.

“Shouts out to all you parents out there sticking tape to the walls,” .Paak said on Instagram. “Here’s something else to keep the little ones occupied!! Have fun coloring and our faves get showered with something special.”

This comes as the latest innovative effort to keep the connection between fan and artist during self-quarantine. Some bands have started webcast series, some have released new songs, and others have started teaching online lessons. .Paak has gone in a different direction entirely by connecting with the children of his fans.

As stated in the post, .Paak will share some of his favorite submissions via the .Paak House Instagram (@paakhouse). .Paak’s charitable organization, The Brandon Anderson Foundation, started the .Paak House initiative as a way to create a “safe-haven” for today’s youth by forming an interconnected network of non-profit organizations. Visit the Foundation’s website for more information.
