Today, multi-talented rapper, drummer, producer, and bandleader Anderson .Paak has shared a brand-new single, “Who R U?”, via Aftermath Entertainment. Following last month’s release of “Tints” featuring Kendrick Lamar, the release of “Who R U?” brings us one week closer to Oxnard, due out Friday, November 16th.
From various recent interviews, we know that Anderson .Paak has been working on two different new albums—one with his band, The Free Nationals, and one solo album (dubbed Oxnard after .Paak’s hometown) executive-produced by Dr. Dre. With Oxfard arriving in the near future, the Malibu follow-up will bring .Paak to a new level in his career, before re-introducing The Free Nations again down the road.
