“None of Those Things” follows “Feel It in Our Bones” and the album’s title track as pre-drop releases, and continues with the themes present in the first two.

In a press release, Frasco noted, “I wanted to approach suffering with optimism on this record. I hit a breaking point… I didn’t want to be remembered just as some good-time party guy. I wanted to show people that I’m more than the crowd-surfing, Jameson-drinking maniac they see on stage.”

For the fans that love the “Jameson-drinking maniac,” have no fear: Frasco hasn’t abandoned the fun. These latest singles just wrap that fun into a different package and tie it with an inspiring bow.

While “Feel It in Our Bones” focused on the idea of helping a friend in need, “None of Those Things” played on another uplifting theme, realizing success and finding joy in the little things. Lyrics like, “Never thought I’d wake up to my own dreams/ Yeah, I’m finally seeing what it is to succeed/ Tired of waking up feeling bad for myself,” and, “Not about the money, cars, not even the bling/ It’s about how you feel without all those things/ Happiness will keep us free,” express that sentiment perfectly.
