As communities across the country and the world deal with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic by implementing social distancing and shelter-in-place guidelines, Frasco has been a constant ray of sunshine amid the dreary days of weeks past. Starting on March 22nd with the “I’m So Excited” lip-sync video and the latest “Let It Be” quarantine parody song from March 26th, popular musicians from the jam community and beyond have offered their services to Frasco in an effort to brighten the days of quarantined viewers.
This Friday’s (4/3) video featured a similarly-stacked lineup of both fresh and familiar faces singing and dancing along (sometimes barely clothed) to the Whitney Houston classic. Musicians like Keller Williams, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Anders Osborne, Mike Dillon, Laura Lee of Khruangbin, Raina Mullen of Ghost Light, Greg Ormont of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Brian Moss of Spafford, Rick Mitarotonda and Peter Anspach of Goose, Dave Brandwein and Sammi Garett of Turkuaz, Eli Winderman of Dopapod, and more, all made appearances in the video alongside a memoji of Post Malone and graphics of Michael Rapaport and Tiger King‘s Joe Exotic. Text overlays at the end of the video reminded viewers to “Hang in there” and “stay the f*ck home.”

Due to the novel coronavirus, Frasco and his band, The U.N., have canceled or postponed much of their spring tour. The next scheduled performance is on May 27th at Monarch Tavern in Toronto, Ontario, however, the status of that show is still in doubt. Head to Frasco’s website for the latest information.
