In what seems to be an exploration of the human race, behind the lenses of an acid trip, the new Animal Collective music video for ‘FloriDada’ is out of this world. In support of the upcoming album Painting With (which drops February 19), the psychedelic video was produced by PFFR, a Brooklyn-based production company/art collective/electronic rock band also responsible for the works in Adult Swim; Delocated; The Heart, She Holler, and is set to premiere tomorrow, January 19, on Adult Swim during the Cartoon Network’s Toonami animated programming block (somewhere between midnight and 6am EST).
The video was pre-released today for the Internet world to enjoy. So tune in and drop out. But be mindful, as the video advises discretion: “the video has been identified to potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy”.
