Ghost-Note has announced a late-night show in New Orleans during Jazz Fest featuring an impressive collection of special guests. The band will hit the beloved French Quarter venue One Eyed Jacks on Saturday, May 2nd, where they’ll be joined by Karl Denson, guitarist Isaiah Sharkey (D’Angelo/John Mayer), drummer Adam Deitch (Lettuce/Break Science), and keyboardist/vocalist Nigel Hall (Lettuce). [BUY TICKETS]

Ghost-Note has taken the funk universe by storm over the past few years. Their patented mix of incredible musicianship, otherworldly composition, and devotion to fat grooves has set them apart as the torchbearer of the “conscious funk” revolution. Spearheaded by the rhythm section of drummer Robert Sput Searight and percussionist Nate Werth, both alumni of jazz fusion collective Snarky Puppy (Werth is still a part-time member), the band features a rotating cast of truly impressive players across every instrument.

Alongside Sput and Werth, the band for this performance will feature three former Prince collaborators in keyboardist Bobby Sparks, the enigmatic Mononeon on bass, and Sylvester Onyejiaka on baritone sax/tenor sax/flute. Guitarist Peter Knudsen, saxophonist/flutist Michael Jelani Brooks, and saxophonist/flutist Jonathan Mones round out the lineup.

Tickets to Ghost-Note with Karl Denson, Isaiah Sharkey, Adam Deitch & Nigel Hall at One Eyed Jacks are on sale NOW via Eventbrite. Keep up to date with this show by RSVPing to the Facebook Event Group. For full show information, see below.
