Following Coachella’s recent lineup announcement, English contemporary electronic musician Aphex Twin has announced another rare U.S. tour date.
Aphex Twin will play a one-off show at New York City’s Avant Gardner on April 11th, two days prior to his first 2019 Coachella performance, during weekend one of the Southern California festival.
The newly-announced date will mark Twin’s first U.S. performance since Houston, TX’s Day For Night in 2016, and first NYC date since the 1990s–having only played the U.S. a handful of times in the last two decades.
Twin’s only other scheduled performance is a stop at Mexico City’s Ceremonia festival on April 6th.
