On Monday and Tuesday, English indie-rock tastemakers Arctic Monkeys rolled into Morrison, CO for a two-night stint at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The two Red Rocks shows, which featured support from Irish post-punk outfit Fontaines D.C., came as part of Arctic Monkeys’ 2023 North American tour in support of the group’s seventh album, 2022’s The Car.
In addition to offering up a handful of selections from The Car each night (including “There’d Better Be A Mirrorball”, “Body Paint”, and “Sculptures of Anything Goes”), frontman Alex Turner and company filled the setlists for the two shows with selections from each of the band’s previous six albums, with a focus on 2013’s acclaimed AM.
Arctic Monkeys tour will continue through the month of September before wrapping up with a three-night run at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA on September 29th and 30th and October 1st.
