The world’s #1 DJ, Armin van Buuren, announced during his latest ‘A State Of Trance’ radio show that his highly anticipated fifth studio album, Intense, would be released on May 3rd. This will be Armin’s first studio release since 2010′s Mirage. Armin released the following official statement:
”It’s been an intense 2 years in the making. Being a perfectionist, some of these tracks have taken me months to finish. I’ve tried to incorporate as many real instruments as possible, including a live orchestra and the rock band of my brother Eller, Bagga Bownz. It’s been an honour to work with such talented artists, singers and songwriters.”
The album’s official artwork will be released on March 7th during Armin’s ‘A State of Trance’ radio show, while a complete tracklist, including collaborators, will be released shortly. Armin is in the midst of his enormous ASOT600 tour, which includes a stop at Madison Square Garden in addition to a headline slot at Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
