Robert Plant, along with his band The Sensational Shapeshifters, have announced details regarding their forthcoming album, lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar. The 11-track album will be released on September 9th, and was produced entirely by Plant.
“Rainbow” is the first single released from the album. In the press release, Plant describes the tune as “African trance meets Zep.”
The Led Zeppelin singer has also announced two shows at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on September 27th and 28th. Tickets for those shows are on sale, and can be purchased here.
