Puerto Rican reggaeton/ Latin trap superstar Bad Bunny will perform at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on February 8th, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Given that the artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio recently said he will not play any shows in the U.S. on his world tour due to concerns about ICE agents showing up at his concerts, this will be the only chance for domestic audiences to see him.

The NFLApple Music, and Roc Nation announced the show during halftime at Sunday night’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys in Texas (which ended in a rare 40-40 tie). Bad Bunny will make history as the first-ever Puerto Rican to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and the third foreign-born headliner this decade following Rihanna (2023), The Weeknd (2021), and Shakira (2020), the latter of whose co-headline with Jennifer Lopez featured surprise appearances by Bad Bunny and J Balvin.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement released by the NFL. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

The Halftime Show announcement follows Bad Bunny’s residency in Puerto Rico, which NPR reports was attended by half a million people. This weekend, he will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live with musical guest Doja Cat, which will air on NBC just like the Super Bowl. His sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos (“I Should Have Taken More Photos”), came out back in January, topping charts worldwide and going platinum at least once in four countries (five times in Spain).
