The somewhat-eclectic playlist from the 44th President of the United States features a mix of rising hip-hop stars like Lil Nas X and KAYTRANADA; American icons like Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé; alternative chart-toppers The Black Keys; female trendsetters Maggie Rogers and Lizzo, and many more. Obama shared his playlist via Instagram and attached the following statement, “[f]rom hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year. If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick.”

Some of the tracks on this playlist also appeared on Obama’s summer playlist, which also included Beyoncé’s “Mood 4 Eva”, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus‘ “Old Town Road (Remix)”, Maggie Rogers’ “Burning”, Lizzo’s “Juice”, The Black Keys’ “Go”, and Rosalía‘s “Con Altura”.
