Beardfest will return to South Jersey’s Pinelands Preserve on June 22nd–25th, 2023 for four days of music, art, yoga, camping, and interactive community workshops. The innovative festival hosted by progressive rockers Out of the Beardspace will feature performances from a range of regional and national talent, including Spafford, Pink Talking Fish, fellow NJ natives Dogs In A Pile and Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music, Isaiah Sharkey, Snacktime, Yam Yam, and Jonathan Scales Fourcestra, in addition to live visual art by ROMPUS art collective, a fire performance by Tamed Flame, and more.
Returning in 2023 f0r its 11th year, Beardfest began as a small party in Out of the Beardspace guitarist Zach LoPresti‘s backyard. Since then, the event has grown into one of the region’s most unique music and art festivals, offering attendees the opportunity to collaborate on large-scale murals throughout the campgrounds, practice yoga, participate in a variety of collaborative music-making activities, and share ideas in community workshops, which have included classes on permaculture, organic gardening, and how to build Earthships.

The festival will once again be emceed by cosmic entertainer Majik Mike and Elise Testone will serve as artist at large, with Rushadicus joining as the official “roaming cello goblin.” Additional performers include Johnny Showcase & the Mystic Ticket, West Philadelphia Orchestra, Sam Greenfield, Black Buttafly, Flanafi, Nazir Ebo, Miss Cantaloupe, Hunter Root, Kyle Sparkman, Natalie Brooke & the Infinity Tribe, Native Maze, The Jawn, Zeelo, Edenspore, Gloss, Carly Brand, Klark Sound, and Sean Daniels & the Law Abiding Citizens.
